We are qualified teachers with 40 years experience in education. We are both DBS checked and have experience working with children and young people, including those with a range of additional learning needs.

We Draw upon a wide range of skills, but in particular a strong creative and practical knowledge from the fields of art and horticulture.

We are trained in Safeguarding, Risk assessment and First aid.

Nick MacGuinness

Nick Became a teacher in 2000 after an established career as a gardener. His teaching has predominantly been focussed on green projects with young people including the setting up aNd running of an allotment and farm shOp in one of London’s most deprived boroughs. He was shortlisted for UK further education teacher of the year and manageS the railway cutting sitE.

Anna-Maria Cahalane

Anna-Maria has been involved in setting up aNd running projects for children yOung people and vulnerable adults since 1999. In recent years she devised successful creative support projects for children and siblings with special educational needs attracting funding fron the Big lottery, children in need and the true colours trust. She is also a local artist and PassiOnately involved in a number of local community Projects. Anna-maria is also a mum to two young chiLdren.
